Marlborough Lines Discount Payment 2020

On 25 March 2020, Marlborough Lines Limited (MLL) made discount payments to eligible consumers connected to MLL’s network, via their electricity retailer.

Ordinarily, MLL would issue a letter to eligible consumers outlining the discount payment process and amount receivable. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, MLL will delay issuing these postal letters until when normal postal service resumes (i.e. when “non-essential” post is allowable again).


Marlborough Lines Responds to COVID-19

Electricity distribution company, Marlborough Lines Limited (MLL) is an essential service under the Government’s COVID-19 Alert Level 4 status. MLL will maintain the essential service of keeping its electricity network operational to ensure that electricity supply to homes and businesses in Marlborough continues.

Marlborough Lines today announced that from 1 April 2020 it will be reducing its prices and increasing the amount of discount payments being made to consumers electricity accounts.


Yealands performance and asset growth help boost total dividend - Marlborough Lines Group 2019 Annual Results

Electricity lines company, Marlborough Lines Ltd, today announced a 20% increase in the total dividend paid to the Marlborough Electric Power Trust ($6.0m) and a net profit after tax of $8.4m, for the year ending 30 June 2019.


Marlborough Lines Managing Director to retire

Ken Forrest has announced that he will be retiring from his position of Managing Director of Marlborough Lines with effect from 23 December later this year.


Marlborough Lines grows daffodils for Marlborough Cancer Society

Some 30,000 daffodil bulbs have been planted at the Company’s Springlands substation on the corner of Murphys Road and Old Renwick Road. 


2017 Annual Report and Accounts

The earthquake of 14 November 2016 had a major impact on Yealands Wine Group (YWG) with significant tank damage and wine loss. YWG was insured but the insurance payments were not finalised prior to 30 June.


2015 / 2016 Discount

In March a total of $9.26m (including GST) will be paid to electricity retailers for distribution to customers connected to the economic areas of Marlborough Lines’ network.
